For orders shipped outside of Europe, it is important to understand that the responsibility for clearing the product through customs in the destination country lies solely with the customer. All customs duties, taxes, and any other related fees are also the sole responsibility of the customer. This includes any charges related to VAT, import duties, or other taxes imposed by your local customs office.
Detectors-x.com is not liable for any shipping delays, fees, or additional customs issues that may arise once the product is shipped from our warehouse or manufacturer. The shipping timeline provided is an estimate and may vary depending on the customs clearance process in your country.
Failure to Clear Customs or Incorrect Shipping Information
In the event that the shipment is returned to us for any of the following reasons:
- Failure to clear customs due to missing documentation, refusal of payment for customs duties, or rejection by local authorities,
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer,
- Refusal to accept delivery of the product for any reason,
No refund will be issued under these circumstances. The customer will bear all associated costs, including:
- Initial Shipping Costs: The shipping fees from our warehouse or manufacturer to the customer’s original shipping address will not be refunded.
- Return Shipping Costs: The costs associated with returning the product back to our warehouse will be deducted from any potential refund if applicable.
- Customs and Handling Fees: Any costs incurred during the return process, including customs clearance on return shipments, handling, and storage fees, are the customer’s responsibility.
Restocking Fee
In the case of returns due to any of the above reasons, or if a product is returned for a refund at the discretion of Detectors-x.com, a 10% restocking fee will be applied. This fee will cover the costs associated with inspecting, repackaging, and handling the returned item.
Product Condition for Returns
To be eligible for any refund or return:
- The product must be in its original, unopened packaging, in a brand-new, unused condition.
- The product must not have been tampered with, damaged, or show any signs of wear or usage.
- All accessories, manuals, and original documentation included with the product must be returned in their original state.
Returns will only be processed once the product has been received and inspected at our warehouse. If the product is deemed to not meet the above conditions, Detectors-x.com reserves the right to deny the return or refund.
Refund Process
Once the returned product has been received, inspected, and deemed eligible for a refund, we will process the refund. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Please note the following:
- The refund process may take up to 14 business days after the product is received.
- The initial shipping fee will not be refunded.
- Any return shipping costs incurred will be deducted from the total refund.
- A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable Items

- Products that have been opened, used, or damaged by the customer.
